Mrs. Margie Frances Adams Bryant Evers, 69, of 1012 Sandusky Drive, died Sunday, Nov. 17, 1991, in Lynchburg General Hospital.

Born in Nelson County, July 24, 1922, she was a daughter of the late John W. Adams Sr. and Mary Ashley Adams, and was the wife of Frank Edward Evers.

Mrs. Evers was a retired file clerk with Craddock-Terry, where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and a member of Chestnut Hill United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy B. and Frederick S. Powell of Lynchburg; one brother, John W. Adams Jr. of Roseland; one sister, Isabel A. McDermott of Lakeland, Fla.; a granddaughter, Cathy P. Campbell of Madison Heights; two great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence L. Bryant.

A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m., Wednesday, in Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, with the Rev. David M. Burch, officiating, interment to follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the funeral home.
