Robert L. Rodgers - of 2940 Marietta Avenue, was dead on arrival at Lancaster General Hospital about 10 p.m. Monday. He was employed at Posey Iron Works. He had served in the U. S. Army during World War ll. He was a lifelong resident of the county. Born in Lancaster, Rodgers was a son of the late Oscar C. and Helen Rodgers Ely. Besides his widow, Glady Gibble Rodgers, he is survived by a son and three daughters; Robert N. Rodgers, Miami, Fla., Barbara, wife of Teodore Steinmetz, Washington Boro, R1, Eleanor, wife of Jerry Harnish, Lancster; and Nadine L., at home. Also surviving are five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Heintzelman, Pittsburg; and Janet, wife of Peter Ashby, Hubbard, Ohio. Lancaster Newspaper.
