Flossie Viola Allen, 73, of West Frankfort died Thursday at American Beauty Nursing Home. She was born on July 22, 1904 in Coulterville to William and Rhoda (Allison) Larkin. Her husband, Frank Allen, died in 1949. She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Allen of Immokalee, Florida and Sally Darnell of Benton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Union Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Melvin officiating. Burial will be in Tower Heights Cemetery.
