Mary was born Mary Elsie Smith on December 19.1920.in Hamilton ,Ontario,the daughter of Harry and Maude ( Ramsey) Smith They moved to the Detroit area were she graduated from Redford High School in 1939.She met Henry Thomas Woodword of Redford and they married August 13.1942.in Midland ,Texas were he was serving in the army,Mary was very much involved in the Lutheran Church in Redford and after moving to the Lake Ann, Interlochen area with Redeemer Lutheran Church in Interlochen Her husband Henry preceded in death in January 1987. Mary is survived by 3 children Bill and his wife Adriann of Thompsonville, Susan Barrons and husband Curt of Honor and Robin and her husband Mike of Traverse City 8 Grandchildren and 3 Greatgrandchildren and brothers Edward smith of lovoina Mi. and Les Smith of Detroit area. She was 82 Passed away at the Bortz Health Care. Sister inlaw Doris Smith passed away in 1979.Aunt of John Jimmy Henry Leslie Mary Lou Patsy Betty Edward Jr.And the Late Walter Smith who we lost in 2004.
