Danielle N. Brinser, 20, of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, formerly of Ottumwa, Iowa, died Saturday, March 21, 2009, in Fairborn, Ohio, of injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

Born July 19, 1988, in Williamsport, Pa., she was raised in Montoursville, Pa., and in her junior year at Montoursville High School moved to Ottumwa, where she graduated as an honor student from Ottumwa High School in 2006. She was a member of the color guard of the R.O.T.C. and was a "Big Sister" mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters agency. She enjoyed sewing and Anime. In January 2006, Danielle entered the Air Force and currently was serving as a senior airman at "Wright-Patt" AFB.

Surviving are her mother, Michele L. (Smith) Brinser (Rick Koser) of Jersey Shore, Pa.; her father, James E. Horton (Connie) of Ottumwa; two sisters, her twin Athena A. Osteen (Tim) and Taylor A. Horton, both of Ottumwa; three brothers, Hawk M. Brinser and Jared S. Brinser, both of Montoursville, Pa., and Tyler A. Crossmon of Ottumwa; paternal grandmother, Patricia A. Nierle of Williamsport, Pa.; maternal grandparents, Roberta H. Smith of Montoursville, Pa., and Clarence L. Smith of Gainsborough, Tenn., and stepgrandparents, Susan and Gerald Crossmon of Ottumwa.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Williamsport, Pa. Burial will be held in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy, Pa., with full military honors accorded by the McGuire Air Force Base Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Sanders Mortuary, Williamsport, Pa.Memorial contributions in Danielle's name may be made to the BBBS of Central Iowa, Inc.
