ALLEN - Willa Lahoma Parker, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 23, 2009. She was the cornerstone of her family for 88 beautiful years and her strength, courage and grace will be remembered and admired by all her family and friends. She was born on December 30, 1920, in Tupelo, OK to the proud parents of Charles and Beulah Perry. On August 6, 1937, she married Boyd Parker. Willa graduated Tulsa Central High School in 1938. She worked at and retired from Penwell Publishing after 33 years and also worked briefly for Carnation Co. where she was the first woman to deliver milk to homes in the Tulsa area. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Charles and Beulah Perry; her sister, Juanita Dunbar; and her husbands, Boyd Parker and C.E. "Bud" Allen. She is survived by: her children, Larry Parker and his wife Bonnie; Paula Gaddy and her husband Charles; her brother, Earl Perry and his wife Liz; granddaughters, Michelle Davis and her husband Greg, Melissa Moore, and Angela Gaddy. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude for all the prayers during these last difficult years. And to our beautiful mother, sister and grandmother we would like to say "We love you best Mimi". Service will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74012 at 3 p.m., on Wednesday, March 25, 2009.
