John N. Girvin, 87, of 19 W. Main St., Leola, died Monday at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness.
Girvin owned and operated Girvin's Flowers and Greenhouses in Leola, Lancaster, Ephrata and Millersville from 1946 to 1977. At one time, he was known for his shamrocks. After retiring, he was a taxi driver for the Amish.
He was a member and past president of the Lancaster County Florists' Association.
Army Air Forces veteran of World II.
