good breakfast. He then went to the lower valley on business.
He got a ride down Snake river and went to a ranch across the cable bridge, and sold an insurance policy, and started back toward the bridge.
A few minutes later some boys told the rancher, Mr. Hill that there was a dead man in the trail. The coroner from Idaho Falls was notified and the body taken there to an undertaking parlor.
Funeral services will be held in Etna at 2:00 p.m. Friday.
Mr Ames has traveled a lot in the western country and held several positions as policeman in different places. For the past several years he has spent most of his time in and around Star Valley. He was always a jovial good natured man and has many friends here who are grieved at his passing.
He was married a number of years ago and has two children buried in Amesville.
