Michael Maurice Daniels, 41, died after he was hit by a pickup on the road inside the High Springs city limits. The accident occured just before 7 pm on December 26, 2007. Both Daniels and the pickup's driver, Robert Harris, had been heading home at the time.
Michael worked at Hardee's and Camp Kulaqua, both in High Springs.

He is survived by his mothers, Vivian Daniels and sister, Jennifer Jones both of High Springs; Aunt Ruthel Williams of Gainesville; Uncles, Robert E. (Cecelia) Daniels of High Springs, Johnnie L. (Evelyn) Daniels of Alachua and Elbert Daniels of Gainesville.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Williams Tabernacle Church of God by Faith, Elder James Williams, Pastor, Dr. Freddie Hickmon, Eulogist. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Processional will form at his mothers residence at 10:00 AM.
