Sharron Kay "Sybie" DeFord Wray was born on Tuesday, June 27, 1950, daughter of Bob and Wanda Benson DeFord. Wray died Feb. 25, 2009 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 58 years 7 months and 29 days. She was born in Memphis, and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a nurse and of the Baptist faith. Wray was preceded in death by her father, Bob DeFord and her brother, Paul Deford.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Wray of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Sarabeth and Justin Brown of Jonesboro; one son, Scott Wray of the home; her mother, Wanda DeFord of Trumann, one brother, Greg DeFord of Trumann and one grandchild, Jacob Brown of Jonesboro.
Funeral services were held Feb. 27 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Kenny Guy McMahan officiating. Burial was private.
