NORTHPORT | Oscar Deuward Stone, age 91, passed away at his home June 8, 2003. Wednesday morning there will be a visitation at 10:00 at Elmwood Chapel in Birmingham prior to the graveside service and burial at Elmwood Cemetery at 11:00.
He is preceded in death by an infant daughter Linda Eloise Stone and by his loving wife of 67 years, Ruth Eloise Stone.
Survivors include his daughter, Betty Ruth Robbins (Edmond), Northport; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Wyatt (Jeff) of Nashville; and William Robbins (Nikki) of Birmingham.
Mr. Stone was born in Birmingham and lived there all of his adult life until 12 years ago when he and his wife moved to Northport.
