George Nelson Crawford, fifty-three, of 114 Montrose Ave, Bausman, Pa, died Saturday at 11am of bronchial asthma in the Lancaster General hospital, after an illness of three years. He was born in Elkton, Va., a son of Georgianne Shiffet Crawford and the late George Crawford, and was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church & of the Forresters of America. He was employed at Armstrong Cork Co for past twenty years where he served as a sheet metal worked. He was a resident of Lancaster for the past twenty-four years. Besides his wife, Grace B. Wolf Crawford, he is survived by one daughter, Gayle V., wife of Richard B. Hollinger, and the following bros & sisters: Arthur & James, of Lancaster; Charles, of Fulton, N.Y., and Ellen, wife of Walker Frankvert, of Lancaster. Source: Lancaster Newspaper.
