Mrs. Josephine C. Long, eighty-five, 411 Lemon St, widow of Isaac E. Long, died at her home at 3 p.m., yesterday, of heart trouble and age infirmities, after an illness of some weeks. She was born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret Kuhn Gompf. She was a resident of Lancaster all her life and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church since 1890. Her husband has been deceased twenty-one years. She is survived by the following children: John A., Clarence E., Cora May; and Mrs. Maude Shindle, all of this city. Four grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. Services will be held from the Funeral parlors of Fred F. Gropp at 3:30 p.m. D.S.S Wednesday. Interment will be in Riverview Burial Park. Lancaster Newspaper.
