Born November 1 st , 1948 in Mountain Grove Missouri. She lost her life on January 6th, 1997 at age 48 in Springfield Missouri at St John’s Hospital. Janet had a long battle with diabetes and heart disease. She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Mother, and Grandmother. She was a devoted member of the Mountain Grove Pentecostal church and never missed service. Janet knew the lord Jesus Christ as her savor and witnessed her faith in him every chance she got. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters April and Lisa and her son Kirby all three of Mountain Grove. Her three grandchildren Damatrium, Brooke, and Logan were her pride and joy. Janet was an amazing Gardner with a true green thumb. She also loved fish keeping and always had a beautiful aquarium with angel fish. She was one of eleven children born to the late Nellie Rhoads and Fred Holt. She had six sisters Donna Winston of Houston Texas, Fern Melton of Mountain Grove, Thelma Emery of Mountain Grove, Velma Hicks of Mountain Grove, Margaret Tanner of Waynesville Mo, Sharon Kay Carriger of St. Roberts Mo. She also had 3 brothers Junior Holt of Saligmen Mo, Tom Holt of Mountain Grove, and Danny Holt of Niagra Falls New york. She loved her hometown. She resides in the Lone Star Cemetery in Mountain Grove, Wright County, Missouri, in the United States of America. The Cemetery is beautiful and peaceful, it is away from the bustle of the town.
