Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Twin Lakes Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Sam Bailey and Reverend Dennis Maley officiating. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
She was born May 2, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois, to William and Hannah Nelson. She married Reuben E. Samuelson on July 24, 1943 in Chicago. Mrs. Samuelson was a homemaker, had worked as a mailroom supervisor for the Baptist General Conference, was a member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church and was a volunteer at Baxter Regional Medical Center and its Bargain Box.
Survivors are her husband: Reuben E. Samuelson: of the home; a son: Loren "Sam" Samuelson and wife, Eileen Schwab: Brighton, Colorado; two daughters: Nancy J. Cribb and husband, Sean: Delray Beach, Florida; and Carol J. Balkus: Glen Ellen, Illinois; a sister: Lillian Johnson: Pembine, Wisconsin; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and host nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister and a brother: Lloyd Nelson.
