Ronald A. Briggs, 63, of Evergreen Dr., Painted Post died Saturday, September 8, 2007, at home.

He was born May 14, 1944 in Corning the son of the late Arvid and Rachel (Pock) Briggs.

Ronald graduated from CFA (Class of 1962).

He retired from Corning Incorporated as a Machinist. He was a life member of the A.F.G.W.U. Local 1000 and a former Auxiliary member of the VFW Post 524.

He is survived by his son, Michael Briggs of Corning; daughter, Amy (Todd) Perry of Henrietta, NY; sister, Eldene Brill of Dundee; grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda, and Amelia Perry; 1 nephew and 2 nieces.

The family will receive friends at Acly-Stover Funeral Home, Corning on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ronald's name to: Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.
