11 Mar 2009: Kevin J. Booser, age 41, of Hershey, died on Saturday, March 7, 2009 while on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was the son of Donald J. and Helen Blauch Booser of Hershey. He was born on May 28, 1967 in Hershey, PA. He was employed in Production for the past 19 years for the H.B. Reese Candy Company in Hershey. He was a 1985 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. His passion was raising and showing Morgan horses. He was a member of the USEF Competing Equestrian and the USET Foundation. Surviving in addition to his loving parents are his maternal grandmother, Ruth, wife of the late Merle Blauch of Annville; paternal grandparents, Jay R. and Edith Booser of Hershey; his sister, Kimberly D. Booser of Hershey; his brothers, Kylan P., husband of Margo Booser of Maplewood, OH, Ernest Wilcox of Lancaster and Aaron Smith of Hershey; nephews, Ryan and Gavin Booser; and his niece, Hope Booser, all of Maplewood, OH; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of viewing, today, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 6-8 p.m., at the Rothermel Funeral Home, Inc., 25 W. Pine Street, Palmyra. His funeral ceremony will be on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Evangelical Free Church of Hershey at 10:30 a.m., with the hour prior for viewing.
