Lillian Faye Clendenin - Melbourne - Lillian Faye Clendenin, 81, a homemaker, died Friday, February 20, 2009. She was born in Given, WV. She came to Brevard in 1956 from Dunbar, WV. Faye was one of eleven children, raised on a farm in the area where her father taught school for 54 years mostly in a one room schoolhouse. She enjoyed crafts and was unconditionally devoted to her family and faith. She was a member of Community Church of God where she was a very active member. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Webster Clendenin; sons, Stephen (Prill), David and Gregory (Dottie) Clendenin; daughters, Deborah (Tom) Perchalski and Valerie (Jim) McGovern; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Curt and Wayne Casto; and sister, Wilda Mae Shedd. Calling hours are Tuesday, February 24th, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the Brownlie-Maxwell Chapel.
