She married Patrick Gillespie in 1847 and bore him three children, William, Anna, and Clara. Patrick had disappeared before 1860 and a divorce was awarded in 1862. William repeated this pattern as he "left the city in 1866 and was never heard from again." Daughters Anna (married Charles Clay) and Clara (married W. Henry Brown)are buried in the same plot as their mother.
