Hargrove was a master brickmason and he took great pride in the buildings he built. He loved to fish and be out in the open air.
He is survived by his four children, Michael Hargrove Moore, Daphne Rebecca Moore, David Ralph Moore, and Barbara Jean Moore. The mother of his children, Virginia Hicks Moore.
His stepfather, Homer Thompson Adams and two sisters, Barbara Jean Moore Dykes and Helen Thompson Adams Strickland.
He was predeceased by his father Ralph W. Moore and his mother Gladys Griener Moore Adams. and his grandmother, Mary Tucker Griener.
