Barbara A. Beatty December 28, 1930 - July 5, 2007 Barbara A. Beatty, 77, of Woodstock, died Thursday after a short illness. Beloved wife of Robert T. Beatty. Born in Cheswick, PA, daughter of the late Francis and Frances (McKane) McCulloch. She made her home in Woodstock since 1969. She attended the Congregational Church of Eastford and the Evangelical Covenant Church. She operated the Red Ridge Farm raising Comara horses. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed painting, drawing, had a great interest in writing children's books and she read her Bible daily. She leaves her husband Robert, children: Thomas Beatty and his wife Joy of Woodstock; Katherine Repko of Park City, UT; Brenda J. Epifini and her husband Roberto of Lecce, Italy; Roberta S. Yu and her husband Leonard of Maui, HI; brother: Thomas McCulloch of Wheeling, WV; grandchildren: Danny Repko; Jessica Repko; Robert Repko; Kyle Beatty; Erica Beatty; Lucas Epifini; Marko Epifini; Brandon Yu and a nephew Patrick Beatty. She was predeceased by a son: Turner "Ben" Beatty and a sister Jane Hensel.
