Lois had 4 girls and 2 boys.
Lois took care of our children Kevin & Jennifer while we worked until Jenn was in grade school. Kevin & Jennifer called her "babysitter" When Jenn was learning to talk we were trying to teach her "Lois", but all Jenn would say is Babysitter, so we left it Babysitter.
When our neice Tanya was born, Lois became Grammy-Cox to Tanya and then Kayla, She cared for them until the girls were in grade school and Lois' stated having heart problems.
Lois' husband had just died before we met her. After Doug's father died and was buried in Ceres Cemetery. We knew Lois' husband was buried in Ceres so we looked and looked, we couldn't find him. Then we went over to put flowers on Glen's grave, looked down Lois's husband was two over. So Lois is now buried next to Doug's dad, not planned but it is so right.
Lois was more to us than just a child care provider she was family.
