Charles left this earth too young and is now free from pain and flying like an Eagle. As a young man, Charles developed a love for the outdoors. He, his father, and other friends would go fishing and hunting. Every opportunity he had was spent enjoying nature.

His profession was welding, which he enjoyed until he suffered a stroke in 2001. Charles had friends everywhere he went. His love for beauty was apparent in the gifts he showered on those he loved, in the way he decorated his home, in the cards he chose to send out for special occasions. After his stroke, Charles was able, with the help of his medical team to live independently until he passed away.

Many were the days he would look out his kitchen window to watch the birds feed. He had a garden that was the envy of everyone on his block. He also enjoyed pulling pranks, but all in good fun.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jacqueline, and his aunt VeEma Jean Risse Smalley. Left to mourn his passing are his father, Chris, stepmom, 2 brothers, John, and Steve, and a sister. His ashes are scattered here at Mt. Lindo in the mountains, overlooking Denver, CO. You live on in our hearts, Charles. Missed by all those who love you.
