"Mrs. Neel, 93, Of Cambridge Dies Thursday
- Funeral services for Mrs. Minerva Glass Neel, 93, who died at her home in Webster City, Thursday morning, will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at the Foster funeral home in Webster City with Dr. Ira J. Houston, Congregational pastor, officiating. Burial will be made in Graceland cemetery. Death was caused by pneumonia. Mrs. Neel was one of the early pioneers of Hamilton county and has lived in Webster City for many years. She has spent much of her time in Cambridge since the death of her husband in 1931.
Mrs. Neel is survived by eight children, all of whom will come for the funeral except for two daughters in the west. The children are: Charles of Cambridge, Will A. and Frank of Gilmore City, John of Charles City, Mrs. Charles T. Simpson of Bridger, Mont., Mrs. F. B. Pierce of Littleton, Colo., Mrs. C. M. Buchanan of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Alexander Groves of Webster City.
She leaves 36 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren."
