Western New Yorker--March 20, 1930--Mrs. James Woodruff passed away Tuesday at North Gainesville.

Phila Isabel Woodruff, wife of James N. Woodruff, passed away at her home in North Gainesville on Tuesday, March 18, 1930 after an illness of several months during which time she was cared for by her husband and daughter. Phila Isabel Barnard was born July 10, 1864, the daughter of Brasill and Rebecca Nobles Barnerd.
She was united in marriage on July 10, 1880 to James N. Woodruff, who survives along with her daughter, Mrs. W. C. Miller of Warsaw; a brother, James Barnard; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She had been a resident of the town of Gainesville for the past 17 years, a member of the North Gainesville M. E. Church, O. E. S. and Patroitic Daughters of America.
Funeral services to be held Saturday, March 22nd from her daughter's home on Elm street, Warsaw and Warsaw M. E. Church. Rev. J. W. Sanderson will be officiating at services and burial in Gainesille.
