He passed away May 12, 1958, at the age of 42, in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, of a heart condition.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kiefer, Adams; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Kasel (Mildred), Charles City, Iowa, and Mrs. Norman Hovde (Madonna), LeRoy; two brothers, Kermit of Albert Lea, and Bernard, at home.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. May 14, 1958, at the Sacred Heart Church at Adams with Father Barden officiating. Pallbearers were Vernon Kiefer, LaVerne Kiefer, Joe Rauen, Wilfred King, Vernon Schaefer and Roman Steichen.
