Born Nov. 30, 1938, in the town of Alexandria, son of George and Viva Mabel Carlisle Adams, he attended school in Plessis.
He entered the Army on March 20, 1962, and was honorably discharged March 13, 1964.
He enjoyed working on small engines and hunting.
Surviving are his companion, Florence Savage; a brother, Gary, Ogdensburg; a sister, Anna May Adams, Watertown, nieces and nephews.
A sister, Virginia Hansson, and six brothers, Robert, Lowell, Herschel, Curtis, George Jr. and Donald, died before him.
