Taylor A. West, 66, of 221 Prospect Ave., West Grove, died Wednesday in Presbyterian Hospital Philadelphia after a short illness. He was the husband of Arlene Weaver West.
Born in Rising Sun, Md., he was a son of Edith Fowler West of Calvert, Md. and of the late Raymond West. He retired in 1973 from the NVF Co. in Yorklyn, Del., where he had worked 33 years. He was a member of the New London Lodge 545 F&AM.
In addition to his widow and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Lois Savadge and Kathleen Gears, both of West Chester, a brother, Warren of Newark, Del., four sisters, Grace Soha of Lancaster, Charlotte Woolens of Landenberg, Jeanne Kennedy of West Grove and Peggy Cockerham of Newark, Del., and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Robert W. Cleveland Funeral Home, Avondale, with interment in New London Presbyterian Cemetery.
