OCKLAWAHA -- Walter J. Gorski, 80, retired from Cadillac Gage in Detroit, died May 6, 1993, at Marion Community Hospital.
A native of Detroit, Mr. Gorski came to Ocklawaha 15 years ago from New Haven, Mich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4209; and Eagles Lodge No. 4216. Mr. Gorski was Catholic.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Otis Gorski, Ocklawaha; daughters, Kathy Doyle and Nancy Hunt, both of Michigan, and Marie Cardwell, Texas; son, Walter J. Gorski Jr., Richmond, Mich.; sisters, Agnes Gorski, Sally Thomas and Betty Ciesienski, all of Michigan; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Hiers Funeral Home, Ocala, is handling arrangements.
