Services were held Tuesday for Donald G. McMahon, 74, of Clark Ave. who died at 12:15PM Sunday in Deaconess Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. A native of East Liverpool, he was born Oct. 8, 1909, a son of George and Ida Allmon McMahon. He retired in 1976 as a painter for US Steel. He is survived by two sons, Donald G. McMahon of Fort Worth, TX and William R. McMahon of Salem; a daughter, Mrs. Sanford (Inez E.) Hill of Winona; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Watson of East Liverpool and Irene McMahon of Chester, WV; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren The Rev. Harold E. Haire of the Oakland Free Methodist Church conducted services at the Martin Funeral Home. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, East Liverpool.
