Charles and Dell Wunsche built the Wunsche Bro's Saloon and Hotel in 1902 with lumber from their own sawmill.
Their brother William Wunsche, Sr and Ralph Hanks and Voress Bonn constructed it. It was two stories high and was an imposing building in its day, and was in busines for 20 years. Prohibition curtailed its businness in 1923 , the railroad now the Missouri Pacific, moved its roundhouse to Houston. Todaythe building is the SPRING CAFE (Hardy Street).
