Dario Florez Espinoza 1938 - 2009 Basham Funeral Care Visitation for Dario Florez Espinoza will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. On January 28, 2009 Dario was called to dance on the streets of Gold. As we all know Dario loved his music and his dancing. Dario worked for Bud Hand Autos for 17 years. Bud was a dear friend of his and a man who spoke life living words to Dario. After Bud closed his doors, a new door opened which led Dario to Rain for Rent, where he committed 30 years of his life to John Lake. He loved his work and had much respect for John. We would like to give a special thanks to John Lake and the Rain for Rent Warehouse, who believed with us that Dario's time there was not yet completed. Dario was well known as a Seattle Seahawk football fan. Even though we all knew they weren't going to the Super Bowl, he would say, "it's not over until it's over". He loved watching his cowboy movies, even to the point of getting his son-in-law Al hooked on them. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Pedro; brother, Pete and his son, David. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Almaiza; sons, Danny, Tony, Dario and daughter-in-law, Becky and Dale and daughter-in-law, Kim; daughters, Diane, Margie and son-in-law, Ruben and Dina and son-in-law, Al, brothers Stanley, James, David and Raul, and sisters Mary and Paula; 21 grandchildren and too many great grandchildren. There were two little stars that shined a little brighter, his princess, Jaida and his dog, Coco. We would like to thank all of his family and friends who celebrated his 70th birthday with him. It meant a lot to him. Thank you! For additional service information, please contact Basham Funeral Care at 873-8200.
