Dr. Thomas Jackson and Missouri Lavinia (LeSueur) Foster's children were ...

2. Clara Eugenia Foster
3. Carie Ann Foster (m. Thomas Marshall Sanders)
4. Thomas J. Velteam Foster
5. William Albert, Sr. (m. Georgia E. Griffin)
6. Zouella Foster
7. James B. Foster
8. Imogene Foster
Missouri Lavania LeSueur was given her name, "Missouri" when her ancestor, Pierre LeSueur along with Rene'-Robert-Cavelier Sieur de LaSalle were on their expedition in 1684. Sometime later with a ship's carpenter, an Indian guide and Pierre LeSueur took a canoe from somewhere near New Orleans to the headwaters of the Mississippi and back. "There is a theory that the name Missouri (from the river and Indians) was given in honor of his exploits."
I would like to thank Jim Morell for sponsoring Missouri Lavinia LeSueur Foster's memorial. His thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
