He was born May 2, 1913, in Prague, the son of Charley and Rose Mary (Ruzicka) Brezny.
He lived in the Prague area all his life and was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
He was the manager of the Prague Lumber Company for 45 years and retired in 1988.
Survivors include his sister, Helen Gregory of Prague; three cousins, Christina Pospisil, Sophia Brezny, Joe Brezny; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Rosary services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today in the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Prague. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague with the Rev. Adrian Vorderlandwehr officiating. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Prague.
