Dies In Martin, Tenn.
Charley Owen, a former Henry Countian, of the Palestine Community, died Wednesday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Sparks, near Martin, where he had been making his home for some months.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at Gum Springs Church with burial in Palestine cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Owen, whose wife died several years ago, are the daughter, Mrs. Sparks, at Martin; two sons in Paris, Dorris and Ray (Pete) Owen of Paris; Bert Owen of Paducah, and Roger Owen, of Washington, D.C.
Members of the family will accompany the body to McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris today.
