Melody Satterthwaite
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Eugene for Melody Kay Satterthwaite of Eugene. She died Jan. 23 of unknown causes, pending test results. She was 30.
She was born Aug. 11, 1978, in Bend to Mel and Peggy Iverson Gottsacker. She married Eric Satterthwaite on Aug. 4, 2007, in Eugene.
She attended Woodburn High School and Sheldon High School. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; her parents, both of Eugene; two children, Savannah Satterthwaite and Mikkena Kay Gottsacker, both of Eugene; and three sisters, Jennifer Korkeakoski of Turner and Julie Hatfield and Dayna Rager, both of Eugene.
Private inurnment will be at West Lawn Memorial Park. Remembrances to the Mikkena and Savannah Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
