Jimmy Wayne Daniel age 62, of LaFayette, GA passed away Saturday, January 24, 2009 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

He was born in Virginia, was reared in Trenton, GA and a former resident of Chattanooga, TN. He was also a former resident of Shreveport, LA and had resided in Lafayette, GA for the past six months. He served his country in the U. S. Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga and also Cleveland State College where he received his Respiratory Therapist Degree. He was a former employee of Baroness Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was the former president of Beacon Healthcare Group of Chattanooga, a Business Developer for Camelot Healthcare, a Marketing Developer for Allegiance Healthcare Management and currently a Marketing Developer for Rural Healthcare of Mississippi. He attended Oakwood Baptist Church in Chickamauga, GA and was a devoted University of Tennessee Volunteer Fan.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Juanita D. Whitcher, sister: Ingrid W. Caldwell both formerly of Chattanooga, TN and grandparents: Lyman R. & Erie Daniel of Trenton, GA.

He is survived by his wife: Janet Rothberger Daniel of LaFayette, GA, his sons and daughter-in-law: Jackson Daniel, Christopher & Christy Daniel and their mother: Elaine B. Daniel all of Chattanooga, TN, his step-children: Matthew and Leslie Prince both of LaFayette, GA, a sister: Tamela Whitcher, a brother: Philip Whitcher both of Chattanooga, TN, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 3:00 pm.-9:00 pm. and Wednesday morning prior to the service at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday – January 28, 2009 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Todd Gaddis officiating.

Burial will follow in Chattanooga Veterans National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Countryside Hospice in memory of "Jack Daniel" at 104 East Patton Avenue, LaFayette, GA 30728.
