Orbie Ann Reece was the only daughter of Isaac Luther "Luke" Reece and Fannie Elvira "Puss" Teakell. Her nicknames were Sis, Sal, and Sally. Her brothers were James, Russell "Ruck" and Buddy. Her father suffered an accidental gunshot wound before she was born, and the bullet lodged in his neck. This left him partially paralyzed, and her mother had to farm the fields while her father kept the home and the children. She was on the Walters High School Girls Basketball Team in Walters, Cotton, Oklahoma. She married Homer Elvis "Mack" Robison in the early 1930's. They had one child, Jo Ann Robison. Orbie was a devoted wife and mother. She made all of her daughter's beautiful clothes and kept her house impeccably clean. She was an excellent cook and talented seamstress. She moved with Homer and his oilfield work from town to town across north Texas and southern Oklahoma. They finally settled in Temple, Cotton, Oklahoma, just 10 miles from Walters where she was born and raised. After their daughter married, Orbie kept her grandchildren while Jo Ann worked during the day. When Jo Ann and the children moved to Texas, Orbie and Homer missed having children in their home, so Orbie began babysitting. She loved all the children and treated them like family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. Orbie also worked to put together the beginning records of their family history, which Jo Ann completed years later. Orbie and Homer were active in the First Baptist Church in Temple. Orbie ran the nursery for years, and then was librarian years after that. She also volunteered for Vacation Bible School. She was a devout Christian. Her favorite hymn was 'Neath the Old Olive Tree.
