KRESS-William A. Kress, 65, of 1702 South Topeka, died Tuesday night at his home. Mr. Kress had been ill for more than two years. He belonged to the South Lawrence Baptist church. Surviving are his wife, Frances; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel Himes of California, and Mrs. Albert Tapin of Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Sheppard of California. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Downing mortuary.
