Great grandfather Edward C. Perrin, husband of Elizabeth "Bette"/"Betty" McNutt.

She is buried in Benton, Arkansas.

Eddie Perrin was born February 1857 in Independence County to David B. and Louvina "Lou" Cason Perrin.

He married Elizabeth "Betty"/"Bette" McNutt on Oct 1O, 188O in Jackson County, AR.

To them were born 8 children, two of whom - William C and and infant daughter - are buried in Perrin-McNutt with Eddie. Betty/ Bette suffered from pillagra and died in Little Rock while undergoing treatment. Buried on the grounds of the State Hospital off Markham, her and the remains of hundreds of other patients were later disinterred and removed to Benton, Arkansas near the Arkansas Health Center. According to the State Health Department, as well as the former Archivist for the Arkansas Historical Commission, all papers relative to the patients were destroyed, as reportedly was the survey of the cemetery in Benton.

As she has no stone, in the future the family will place memorial stone at Perrin-McNutt near the resting place of her beloved husband, sister, brother, children and grandsons.

Original Headstone for Edward C. "Eddie" Perrin, son of David B. and Elizabeth "Bette" McNutt Perrin. Feb 1857 - 1911.

Father of 7 children, including my grandmother Ophelia Perrin.
