Funeral services for W.C. (Coy) Woodard, age 77, of Elkhart, Texas will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Woodard Cemetery near Elkhart, with Rev. John L. Windham officiating. Burial will be in the Woodard Cemetery. Arrangements by Hassell & Foster. Pallbearers included Paxton Gammage, Abb Gammage, I.M. Gammage, Turner Jones, J.D. Carr, Calvin Hendrick, Joe B. Parker, and Odie Killion. Mr. Woodard died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday (April 3, 1952) at his home in Elkhart. He was born April 17, 1874 in Anderson County. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Ellen Parker of Elkhart; and a number of nieces and nephews.
