Earl Browning Sr., 77, Wallins,KY died May 21, 2005, at the Harlan Nursing Home.
He was born in Pruden, Tenn.Sept 20th,1927 he was a retired coal miner and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the New Vine Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Charlie Browning and Parasitia Partin Browning; his wife, Shirley Browning; one son, Danny William Browning; and a stepsister, Roxie Golden Maiden.
Survivors include his children: Charles Hugh Browning and wife, Jackie, St. Louis; Thomas Wayne Browning, Wallins; Earl Browning Jr. and wife, Judy, Tennessee; Kathy Browning, Wallins; and Gary Richard Browning and wife, Pamela, Harlan,KY brothers and sisters: Clarence Browning, Middlesboro,KY Homer Browning and wife, Jessie, Pineville; Roy Browning and wife, Elaine, Tennessee; Charles Browning and wife, Patricia, Chenoa,KY John D Browning and wife, Goldie, Frakes; Trula Browning and husband, R.L Bray Frake,KY Hazel and husband, J.R Evans Frakes,KY Opal Browning and husband, W.M Webb Frakes; and Thelma Browning and husband, Caleb Jr.Miracle, Frakes,KY one stepsister, Hazel Golden and husband,Roger Morristown, Tenn.; a stepmother, Ethal Browning Middlesboro,KY 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation and Funeral was Monday at the New Vine Baptist Church in Frakes.KY As his request,With the Rev.Turman Partin and Rev.Roy Webb,
Visitation will be today and Wednesday at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at the Wallins Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Freeman Clark officiating.
Burial will follow in Browning Cemetery in Wallins.
Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
