Chapin - Services for B. Norman Hair, 63, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Chapin Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 tonight at Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Chapin Chapel. Memorials may be made to Chapin Baptist Church. Mr. Hair died Saturday, Jan. 8, 2000.
Born in Calhoun County, he was a son of Barnie L. Hair and the late Olivia Heckle Hair. He was a member of Chapin Baptist Church and retired from Allied Signal. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Inabinet Hair of Chapin; daughter and son-in-law, Kerri and Mike Brittingham of Lexington; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Dessa Hair of Irmo; father of St. Matthews; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Harrison Hair of Irmo; Emily, Jim and Trent Brittingham of Lexington; brothers, Donald Hair of St. Matthews and Lynn Hair St. Helens, Ore.; sister, Jean Miller of St. Matthews.
