Born in Tyronza, Ark., she was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Frohauck) Haynes.
A 1945 graduate of Brazil High School, she was a founding member of the Tri County Homemakers Club. She was a member of Lena United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
She married John S. Mace on Oct. 16, 1946. He survives.
Also surviving are children Michael Mace and wife Nancy, Savannah, Ga., Becky Jacob and husband Dave, Brazil, John David Mace and wife Jane, Brazil; sister Margaret Foxx, Greencastle, and Mary Lou Howard and husband Don, Brazil; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Larry Earl Mace.
