Dr. Samuel B. Norton, of Denver,
Colo., an oldtime resident of Iroquois
and Livingston counties, was the guest
of his nephew, Station Agent S. B.
Norton, of Piper City. He was one of
the promoters of the building of the
T. P. & W. railway before the war
and was quite prominent.
