St. Matthews, March 4 - William L. Felder, 56, died at his home here this morning after an illness of several months, although his health had been bad for the last five years. He was the son of the late J. L. Felder and Mrs. Mamie W. Felder of Parler, where he was born.

Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in West End cemetery. The services will be in charge of the Rev. B. R. Tucker, pastor of St. Paul's Methodist church, of which he was a member.

Mr. Felder was associated with his brother, C. B. Felder, in the Felder Furniture company and was also a small planter. He was a Mason, a member of the board of stewards of the Methodist church and served at one time on the town council.

Mr. Felder is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mamie W. Felder; his widow, Mrs. Edna Robinson Felder, and an adopted son, Theron A. Houser. He is also survived by three brothers, Harry and Ben Felder, both of Parler, and C. B. Felder of St. Matthews.
