Excerpt--55, of Summersville, and formerly of Kingwood, died July 18, in Preston memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 6, 1919 in Kingwood, a s/o the late Ned G. and Jennie A. Borgman Stone. He was a veteran of WW II and a supervisor of the Farmers Home Administration. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Korte Stone; three sons, William Stone of Kingwood, John C. Stone of Keyser and Ned Stone of Summersville; two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Cummings of Kitts Hill, Ohio and Mrs. Barbara Miller of Morgantown; two sisters, Mrs. George (Beulah) Myers of Reedsville and Mrs. Juli (Katherine) DiGiando of Wellsley, Mass. and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Stone. Burial was in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Howesville.
