He was married to a woman Joann Irene Robinson and had his son Stephen "Steve" named after his father and daughter Suzanne (Susie) named after his mother. His parents were both from Czechoslovakia. He worked for Marathon Oil Company in Littleton Colorado and lived in Burbank Apartments. He divorced in 1968. He met Jean Anne Whitney (Guy) through some friends and married in 1977. Paul went to college to become an engineer. He then moved to London England in 1979 with Jean and step-daughter Diane. He loved to collect stamps and traveled often for his job, like Singapore. He then moved to Houston Texas in 1981-1982 where he remained until his divorce from Jean 12 April 2002. He went to live in Florida near his son Steve.

LITTLE FALLS - Paul R. (Zip) Zeman, 81 of Dania, FL and 5 Diamond Street, Little Falls passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at his Little Falls residence.
He was born on June 30, 1927 in Little Falls the son of the late Stephen and Susie (Mizerak) Zeman. He was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1945 as well as a graduate of Marietta College, Marietta, OH Class of 1953 with a Bachelor of Science Degree (cum laude) in Petroleum Engineering.
Mr. Zeman was a veteran of World War II serving with the US Army. Entering the service on September 10, 1945 and served in occupied Germany. He was honorably discharged on March 10, 1947. On October 22, 1950 while serving as Army reservist he was recalled to active duty for the Korean War and served in the Korean theater until his honorable discharge from the service as a Corporal on October 20, 1951.
He began his career as a Petroleum Engineer with the Ohio Oil Co. in 1964 which became Marathon Oil, Findlay, OH working in various oil fields and oil research facilities in the United States and around the world . He returned to Houston, TX where he remained until his retirement after 35 years of service in 1986.
He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls, a life time member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Legion Post # 304, Dania, FL, Little Falls Polish Community Home, Dolgeville Rod & Gun Club and the Elks Lodge # 42, BPOE, Little Falls.
He is survived by his son Stephen J. Zeman, Dania, FL and his many dear friends and neighbors. He was predeceased by his daughter Sandra S. Zeman on December 7, 1991.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls. Interment will take place in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 4-7 pm and to attend the funeral services morning.
