"Gertrude Flora Lane, 88, of Hannibal, died at 3 p.m. Sept. 3, 1999, at Willow Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at James O'Donnell Funeral Home. Rodger Lane and the Rev. Howard Kisor Jr. will officiate. Burial will be at Antioch Cemetery in Hannibal.
Mrs. Lane was born Feb. 20, 1911, in Granite City, Ill, to Claridon Freemont and Bessie Woodyard Lain.
She was married to Charles Clifford Lane Sr. on Oct. 8, 1927, in Hannbal. He preceded her in death June 1, 1976.
Survivors included one son, Rodger Lane Sr. of Hannibal; three daughters, FERal Kisor of Palmyra, Nancy McKinney of Hannibal and Sharon Hall of Carlinsville, Ill; one sister, Dora Lee Bartlett of Hannibal; 32 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Cliff Lane, Harold Lane and Robert J. Lane; 5 brothers, Edgar M. Lain, Homer Lain and Paul Lain, and two infant brothers, Buster Lain and Walter Lain; her half brother, Virgil Francis, and one sister Georgina Lain.
Mrs. Lane was nurse's aide who had worked at St. Elizabeth's Hospital and retired from Willow Care Center.
Mrs. Lane was a member of the Church of Christ.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ.
Pallbearers will be James Kisor, Gene Lane, Jason Lane, Martin Lane, Mark McKinney, Bill Hedgepeth and Rodger Lane.
Honorary pallbearers will be Walter McKinney Sr., Floyd Hall and Rodney____."
