The Call of the Wild
A Call that can not be ignored
Gentle and warm as the morning sun
Lonely and cold as a winter night.

When you hear the call,
Let your heart sing,
Your blood race,
And your spirit soar.

The wild is calling you home
Tears fall, memories recalled
Love neverending.

A legacy of love known only to the humans,
who opened their hearts to you, Kati su.
In turn we recieved the never ending devotion,
And companionship you gave in trust and love.

They say the Rainbow Bridge is where we will meet again.
Crossing the Rainbow Bridge your pain is gone,
and your spirit is set free.
You can see, hear, and play, like the beautiful puppy you were years ago.

The wild has called you home
Till the time comes to meet again,
Know you are loved and sadly missed.
Nothing can take your place in our hearts.
We love you Kati Su!!

This memorial is dedicated to my forever friend, Connie's little dog. The poem was written by her daughter, Dori. One second Kati was there and the next second she was gone.
Kati was killed by coyotes late one very cold night.
